While Square Enix has a show, it has already been pretty clear about what exactly it'll be showcasing. While there's definitely room for surprises, because of Forspoken 's existence as a PS5 exclusive , it doesn't seem like the title will be making an appearance. Sony has been notably absent from E3 for a few years now, but the company often times does its own events during the summer. Regardless of whether Fable is a reboot or a sequel , its success will likely require the game to strike a balance between the new and the old. Metroid Prime 4 has had development issues that caused the entire project to be rebooted in 2020, so it's unlikely that the game will be ready to be shown off in its current state.
