The main character for Wuthering Waves , Rover , is also a nice choice here too. When you reach a certain part in the main story, Rover is going to unlock their Havoc damage type form and can now do a lot more damage and has way more versatility with team compositions. This Havoc variation is going to be a nice alternative if you don’t have Calcharo or just don’t mesh with Calcharo’s gameplay. Rover can do some big damage when you get their build set up correctly and paired with Jianxin’s kit, they can both work well together.
In some settings, Danjin works all right as a sub-DPS, but she really does shine when you situate her as your main, with Jianxin to back her up. Jianxin is an all-around great character to play with, but she has some excellent defense stats and buffs, which makes her a wonderful sub-DPS and support character for Dan
Yet, despite its issues, I find I keep going back for more. I am absolutely enraptured by some of the characters, with the majority of them being exceedingly well-voiced. Their combat is fun and uniquely challenging. I don't feel like I'm button-mashing, but instead, like I'm executing each action with grace and fluidity that I don't usually feel while playing similar games. While the story may be the weak link, the combat mechanics definitely make up for it. Seeking out fights doesn't feel tedious and, instead, feels delightful.

Wuthering Waves News Waves is a phenomenal game and it had a lot of potential, but it could be left in the oven for a couple more months easily. The game features some great systems like the echo system for consistent and fun farming, but it couldn't capitalize on this system, especially during the release with a heavy lack of echo upgrade items.
For Jianxin’s dps and support hybrid option, there are a few good choices to pick from. The first option is the 5-star named Abyss Surges , this weapon will give a 12% Energy Regen when hitting an enemy with the Resonance Skill while also increasing Basic Attack damage. The second option will be Hollow Mirage. This one grants 3 stacks of Iron Armo r when Resonance Liberation is used and each stack of Iron Armor will increase attack and defense , but when taking damage you will lose 1 stack . The next option is Stonard , which increases Resonance Liberation damage once the Resonance Skill is used.
If you are looking for the Sierra Gale buffs, you’ll want to look at equipping Feilian Beringal for Jianxin. This will allow Jianxin to transform into the Feilian Beringal to damage enemies with a kick. If it lands, then a follow-up attack will then be released.
